About IPMS Polska
IPMS Polska was officially registered in spring 2011 and subsequently, in July 2011 was officially accepted in the Global Association of International Plastic Modellers Society consisting of certified IPMS national organisations in more than 40 countries worldwide. IPMS motto is the slogan “By modellers – for modellers”.
IPMS Polska primary objectives are:
dissemination and development of scale modelling in Poland;
spreading historical and scale modelling knowledge among school children and teenagers, also knowledge about the Polish state;
supporting research and restoration of technical and military monuments;
promotion of Poland at exhibitions and scale modelling competitions in the country and abroad.
Furthermore, IPMS Polska aims for raising the level of scale modelling to the highest standard and to change public perception from that of a hobby for dilettantes to that of an appreciated art-form.
The aforementioned objectives have been reached through the years as attested by public attendance in various scale modelling domestic and international events.
The main event of the Society is that of its annual exhibition taking place in June in Warsaw.

01.02.2024: IPMS Polska, IPMS Warszawa and QWKAK have the honor of inviting you to the Warsaw Scale Model Show Babaryba 2024.
On 1st and 2nd June, in one of the largest sports hall in Warsaw, on over 2,000 square meters of exhibition space, the modelers from Poland and abroad will present their works, workshops, techniques & more. Festival of plastic and cardboard models and the competition for Syrenia Łuska (a Trophy of Marmaid’s Scale as the Marmaid is a symbol of Warsaw – a contest for those who like counting rivets), a rich workshop program plus many surprises and attractions will take place.
A special trade zone will provide for the possibility of professional presentation of the products of recognized foreign manufacturers as well as many Polish scale modeling companies.
This will be a real modeling feast. The Warsaw Model Show Babaryba 2024 will take place for the third time in the Arena Ursynów, at ul. Pileckiego 122 st.

Some time ago we went past through shut-down of many countries to prevent the spread of coronavirus desease. Still, it seems the World has become normal again but we will have to live together with the disease as it is now.
