About IPMS Polska
IPMS Polska was officially registered in spring 2011 and subsequently, in July 2011 was officially accepted in the Global Association of International Plastic Modellers Society consisting of certified IPMS national organisations in more than 40 countries worldwide. IPMS motto is the slogan “By modellers – for modellers”.
IPMS Polska primary objectives are:
dissemination and development of scale modelling in Poland;
spreading historical and scale modelling knowledge among school children and teenagers, also knowledge about the Polish state;
supporting research and restoration of technical and military monuments;
promotion of Poland at exhibitions and scale modelling competitions in the country and abroad.
Furthermore, IPMS Polska aims for raising the level of scale modelling to the highest standard and to change public perception from that of a hobby for dilettantes to that of an appreciated art-form.
The aforementioned objectives have been reached through the years as attested by public attendance in various scale modelling domestic and international events.
The main event of the Society is that of its annual exhibition taking place in June in Warsaw.
What’s new
17.09.2023: The NOTICE is hereby given by IPMS Polska Executive Committee to all members of the Society, that a General Meeting of IPMS POLSKA shall be held on October 7th, 2023 (Saturday) at the venue of Szczecin Park of Technology and Science (Szczeciński Park Naukowo-Technologiczny) – “Technopark Pomerania”, ul. Cyfrowa 6, 71-441 Szczecin.
1-st term: at 12:00 p.m., II-nd term: at 12:30 p.m., on the day and at the venue as above.
The proposed agenda includes voting on a membership fee in 2024 and a meeting with IPMS Polska member candidates.

15.09.2023: We are planning to visit some national and international scale model shows and events this year. You will be able to find us at our stand at VIII-th Model Show Poznań 22-24.09.2023, XI-th Szczecin Scale Model Show “Paprykarz 2023” 7-8.10.2023, Scale Model Challenge Eindhoven 14-15.10.2023 and, after a few years pandemic break, we are finally coming to IPMS UK SMW Telford on 11-12.11.2023 !
15.07.2023: A 1/35 IBG Scammell Pioneer by Mikolaj75 gallery has been added to the Gallery section of this site. Mikolaj has made this model as usually – putting a lot of his own invention into it and scratch building all the needed detail.
05.06.2023: As this year Babaryba 2023 Scale Model Show has been a great success, we have been inspired even more to organise Babaryba 2024 Warsaw Scale Model Show. The Warsaw Scale Model Show 2024 is planned to be held on 1-2.06.2024 – and the modellers as well as the scale modelling enthusiasts and the public from all over the world are invited !!! Stay tuned for more information about the event.
01.02.2023: IPMS Polska, IPMS Warszawa, QWKAK and DOK Ursynów have the honor of inviting you to the Warsaw Scale Model Show Babaryba 2023.
On 3rd and 4th June, in the largest sports hall in Warsaw, on two levels (over 2,000 square meters), modelers from Poland and abroad will present their works, workshops, techniques. Festival of plastic and cardboard models and the competition for Syrenia Łuska (for those who like counting rivets), a rich workshop program plus many surprises and attractions.
A special trade zone will provide for the possibility of professional presentation of the products of recognized foreign manufacturers and Polish scale modeling companies.
This will be a real modeling feast. The Warsaw Model Show Babaryba 2022 will take place in the Arena Ursynów, at ul. Pileckiego 122.

We hope very much that none of the scale modelling shows scheduled for 2023 will be cancelled, however, please bear in mind, that organisation of such mass events depends on mitigation of epidemic restrictions. Hello everyone,
We’re currently all living through something that’s previously unheard of in anyone’s lifetime – a pandemic and some forms of shut-down of many countries to prevent the spread of coronavirus desease.
With regret we had been forced to cancel almost all modelling events in Poland scheduled for the first half of 2021. Still, some of them were converted to on-line contests and shows.
However, we hope that the cure for Covid-19 will start efectively working soon and the World will become normal again.
We are looking forward to seeing you in great numbers and with lots of models at the scale modelling events in Poland and abroad in better future to come.
In the meantime just obey the local pandemic rules and wait until the danger is past.
