Nieuport Ni-11, 1-st Flying Regiment Ukraine, Krasne Airfield, February 1919
Polish – Ukrainian – Bolshevik war, Toko 1/72 by Aterlier Hadzi
Like many of you, I have my own projects started years ago, which have been waiting to get completed.
One of them is this Ni-11, started in the late 1990s. At that time, I glued and painted only the interior from photo-etched sheets from the Part company.
At first, it was supposed to be a plane of the Tsarist Air Force, but it ended up being a Ukrainian one.
In 1919, the young Ukrainian state fought with the red and white Russians and in the east with Poland.
There were several Polish-Ukrainian air duels then – this is how this Bebe entered the framework of my collection.
Toko decals, as you probabvly know, are very fragile, fortunately only the fin flash fell apart here, unfortunately the number on it is strangely printed with a rectangular base, which significantly disfigures the model. The frame for the rifle, was not suitable for use, I made a new one from scratch.
Hope you like the result.
